| I’ve
made several promises and told you why you should act now to protect your
company from common legal risks when using electronic communications in
the workplace. So who am I and why should you trust what I
say?
Let
me introduce myself… I am Mark Fiedelholtz, communications attorney
and professional trainer. My company, Effective Communications, Inc.,
produces The Guardian Series training programs to educate
employers and employees on strategies for avoiding liability in today’s
21st century electronic workplace.
Your
Trainer
Since
1990, I have trained thousands of employees nationwide on how to protect
themselves from defamation, invasion of privacy, harassment, copyright
infringement and other costly and embarrassing claims when using electronic
communications.
As
a trainer, I rely on my media background to transform “the boring
legal stuff” into value-packed seminars and training videos. I want
seminar participants to come away with a sense of empowerment and the
ability to train others on the proper use and retention of electronic
communications.
I
spend hundreds of hours each month keeping current on the latest court
rulings and evolving laws so YOU don’t have to! As communication
tools become more sophisticated and businesses become more dependent upon
their use, your chances of liability escalate. My goal is
to give you the knowledge and tools to actively protect yourself.
